With PSVimgTools, the Whitelist hack can be installed on any firmware. But for those of us who upgraded to latest firmware to use this whitelist hack, we missed the boat on some new exploits that require HENkaku to install. These include FakeCamera and DSMotion, which actually further expand the PSTV library by solving many of the compatibility issues games like Tearaway and Uncharted Golden Abyss suffer from. Perhaps the most interesting HENkaku exploit is the ability to use micro SD cards via a simple adapter that plugs into the game slot.
Fortunately, gaps are once again about to be bridged. Developer of VitaShell, TheFloW, has tweeted that he has been hard at work making a new version of HENKaku that will work on 3.67. At the present time, he has not set a release date. His university schedule is demanding - I know how that feels, bro! But eventually, his new 3.60+ version of HENkaku will be released.
Of course knowing Sony's modus operandi, they will probably release a new firmware update shortly after release. So if being on the latest firmware is essential to you, you probably won't get to use the SD2Vita adapters for every long. But at the very least, it should give you enough of a window to use the new HENkaku to install DSMotion & FakeCamera before updating.
