Petition updateSimon’s Law UK - Reform how the UK handles elderly Sex Offenders with dementia

🎉 Petition Update: 2,500 Signatures Reached!

Today we have reached an incredible milestone – 2,500 signatures.

To every single person who has signed, shared, commented, or stood alongside us, thank you. Your support is helping to ensure that the voices of survivors are being heard.

This means we are now 25% of the way towards our  goal of 10,000 signatures. Every signature sends a clear message that the current system must change.

Simon’s Law UK was created because we experienced first-hand what happens when serious sexual offences are proven, yet existing legal frameworks leave survivors feeling that justice has not been fully achieved. We believe reform is possible, and with your support, we will continue to take that message to decision-makers across the UK.

Our campaign has already reached millions of people, opened conversations with politicians, journalists, survivor organisations, and criminal justice professionals, and this petition is another powerful way for the public to show they believe change is needed.

If you have already signed, please consider sharing the petition with your family, friends, colleagues, and community. Every new signature brings us one step closer to our goal.

Next stop: 5,000 signatures. Then on to 10,000.

Together, we can build a justice system that better protects survivors, strengthens public safeguarding, and ensures that proven harm is never forgotten.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in Simon’s Law UK.
