Responses from Education and Health Departments

Hi. I have received correspondence from the federal Education and Health Departments. While both affirmed the need for academic rigour and emphasised the Government's commitment to vaccination, neither department will take any direct action against the University of Wollongong, preferring instead to allow the university's internal quality control mechanisms the opportunity manage the issue. The email from the Education Department did advise, however, that ineterested parties might lodge a complaint with the university at http://www.uow.edu.au/about/complaints−management/index.html Education also suggested that should a complainant not be satisfied with the university's response, further complaints could be lodged with the NSW Ombudsman and/ or the Australian Research Integrity Committee.
