Sunita loses her battle with death, but will win the war against tobacco

With a heavy heart, we regret to inform you that the brave crusader for the tobacco control campaign, SunitaTomar, is no longer with us. Last week, she was admitted to the hospital again as her condition deteriorated and on the morning of Wednesday, 1st April, she passed away. She passed away on the same day as the 85% picture health warnings were to be implemented -1st April. This is a strong message to the Government and our society, that time waits for no one, and the more we delay actions for public health, more lives with be lost.
