It has come to my attention that multiple people believe during the fight Valerie hit the teacher who tried to break up the fight which might have lead  that the teacher that voluntarily broke up the fight to be pressing charges towards Valerie. If this information is true i believe it is ridiculous. In no means am i condoning and admitting that harassment is necessary but hear me when i say that VALERIE NEVER TOUCHED THE TEACHER. In the recording it clearly shows the teacher pulling on Valerie’s arm with both of his hands at full strength, after tripping over Valerie’s legs he lost grip of her arm and fell on his back with force. His own force. Valerie should not be punished due to someone else’s actions. A signature can go so far to help us open the schools eyes and give Valerie another chance to experience her sophomore year in high school without having the chance to go to juvenile. Keep in mind that fighting is zero tolerance but the usual and common punishment in Maryville Junior High school, is a FOUR DAY SUSPENSION. While the same punishment has been issued to multiple students who have been in fight at this school. LET’S NOT GET THIS CONFUSED WITH ASSAULT ON A SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR.
