Banded Peak School Dark Sky Festival Was Amazing!!

I spent the afternoon of Thursday May 31 at the Dark Sky Festival presented by Grade 5 and 6 students from the Banded Peak School in Bragg Creek Alberta, Canada. I honestly wish that you could have all been there to take it all in and that I was able to capture the students giving out the information to put out for everyone to see. I also wish that the Alberta Government could have taken in the event so that they too could get a better understanding of the issue and see that there is an entire upcoming generation that cares about what it happening to their future based on decisions being made today they have no say in. The event was amazing and awesome! The young adults took education to a whole new level taking a broad concept of light pollution and turning it into a full curriculum for themselves and an education platform for the entire community.
