Our petition is about services and supports for survivors and communities impacted by child sexual abuse. Left Write Hook services in Victoria designed to help adult survivors of sexual abuse. It is a peer-led, research- and trauma-informed recovery program. Safe, private, and inclusive, participants are invited to write, box and share, as they break down the silence and shame of childhood sexual abuse and trauma. Left Write Hook are about to extend programs to male survivors of child sexual abuse in Victoria.

This morning the Victorian Parliament passed the motion for an Apology for victim/survivors of child sexual abuse in government schools. The Department of Premier and Cabinet has extended an invitation to Beaumaris community people associated with this petition to attend Parliament House to witness the apology. More details to follow.
