We are talking with the office of Ms Zoe Daniel MP to create an opportunity for Ms Daniel to meet with some of her  constituents, families and supporters regarding the prevention of child sexual abuse, and the support of victim/survivors of child sexual abuse., their families and communities.

The federal electorate of Goldstein includes Elsternwick, Caulfield South and Glenhuntly in the north, and includes Brighton, Hampton, Black Rock, Beaumaris and parts of Cheltenham in the south. See the map of Goldstein via the following link.

The Federal Government funds a number of important initatives regarding child sexual abuse, which includes funding of the National Centre for Action on Child Sexuaal Abuse.

"Central to the work of the National Centre for Action on Child Sexual Abuse, is elevating the voices of victims and survivors to reduce stigma and promote healing."

To date, the only Government members and advisors who have responded to our requests to meet about the outcomes our petition seeks, have been part of the Federal Government, not the Victorian government. Although we continue our communications with the Victorian government requesting they meet with us.

In addition to sharing thoughts and feedback on the Beaumaris Board of Inquiry process and report, it is an opportunity to talk with Ms Daniel about other federal government actions yet to be taken, or existing actions lacking resources, funding, and those not meeting their objectives.

We will keep you updated on our progress, and please don't hesitate to contact us via our Facebook page to let us know your thoughts on the location and substance of a lunch with Ms Daniel.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Beaumaris community at yesterday's Victorian Survivors and Supporters lunch, many travelling from regional Victoria.

We are all in it together, and stronger together, in  our collective actions to effect significant change. And support each other along the way.
