Sharing from Nami Kim’s Facebook page. Nami is a South Korean anti-dog meat activist and rescuer: https://www.facebook.com/savekoreandogs/posts/499014903581908 We were out, total 8,000 copies of leaflets were distributed by fifteen volunteers on the main streets at three locations near Seoul City Hall. All filled with spirits to save dogs, three Americans teaching English in Seoul joined us. Some old men who are our major target responded and said "I love the dog meat soup, why telling me not to eat it?", "I cook that often for my husband", then I share what I've seen, how brutal it is the way the dogs get slaughtered for the meat, and its health risks, how unhygienic the way the meat is prepared and cooked at restaurants. Some pushed us away, some ignored but some heard our voice. I can't say how many we saved today but I believe with the flyer in the hands of those will play its role.
