Instead of the judge holding our an Evidentiary Hearing this past April 9th, the hearing has been "postponed" so both parties can partake in a second psychological assessment. Although I filed a motion requesting said testing be granted, I was not aware it would further delay my hearing, therefore costing me more lost time with my daughter that I can never get back. 

The psychological assessment will be conducted by the same psychologist whom did our assessments back in 2015. If the judge had of taken those results into consideration then, Kelsie would have returned back to North Carolina from Michigan seven years ago. Instead, the recommendations (and those that followed) continue to be ignored. 

This year, my court ordered summer parenting time is to begin the Saturday after my daughter's last day of school. I am to have her practically the whole summer for the first time in seven years. But in order for that parenting time to happen, both psychological assessments must be completed and submitted to the judge so the Evidentiary hearing can continue (be rescheduled). 

Do you think I'll ever get my summer parenting time that's been court ordered since 2015? Not once have I received any of those court ordered summer parenting times over the years. Yet my daughter's father continues to violate court order year after year as he's never been held accountable for his actions. 

Afterall, would you follow a court order if you got away with successfully alienating your child from their other parent for the last seven years, with no consequences given?
