Greetings Brothers and Sisters,

A new week has begun.

Let us purpose in our hearts to pray Psalm 139:23-24 daily.

Nothing is of greater importance.

 

1 Corinthians 10:12 admonishes us "wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth,take heed lest he fall"

 

Even as we are standing for truth and accountability, we MUST be found standing for the Lord in our lives.

 

Keep focused on God and the task at hand for the detractors are many.

 

Probably the number one diversionary tactic, is the issue of the diverting of tithes and offerings.

Dr Vine did NOT say that this should be done.

He made a statement about this with a conditional IF.

Additionally, the idea of diverting of God's money to support God's work did not originate with Dr. Vine.

During the recent pandemic,churches such as Stateline SDA Church,TN that stood for liberty of conscience had monies diverted to them to support God's work.

Two laymen Jones and Waggoner presented the message of righteousness by faith.

The leaders rejected the message and went HARD against them.

Sis White stood in support of them.

 

For three years following the GC meeting in 1888, she traveled across the USA with Jones and Waggoner as they presented the message of righteousness by faith that the Lord had given to them.

 

The GC leadership was not happy.

They accused the trio of trying to divide the church (similar to what we are hearing these days)

 

They eventually sent Waggoner to England and Sis White to Australia to break up the trio.

Also read what she wrote to O.A.Olsen of the GC leadership in Letter 127,from Sunnyside ,Cooranbong, December 01,1896.

While she was in Australia there were  believers who sent monies to her to support the work in that part of the vineyard.

Joshua V. Himes who was one of our pioneers (worked with William Miller) was one such individual who sent his money to her to support God's work.

So again this issue of diverting the monies is simply that, DIVERSIONARY TACTICS to cause us to lose sight of the core issue- freedom of conscience.

 

If there was any doubt that freedom of conscience was the issue,examine the treatment of Dr Vine,the last few years.

He was uninvited as a delegate from the last GC session.

Take your time and digest that.

 

He has been muzzled by his Conference because what he spoke was considered "anti-church".

Yet the church are the people,and online survey shows that the majority of the people are in support of his stance.

How then is he anti-church?

Looking at recent events it begs the question,is this where we are today?

Are we in the lap of Rome and are being lulled to sleep to silence our cries and to shut down the protest?

How many of our clergy are OPEN in their support of Dr Vine and his stance on liberty of conscience?

A couple weeks ago our Religious Liberty Leader said that Rome has changed since 1965 so Adventists need to be educated about this to avoid slander etc etc

Jeremiah 13:23 and Revelation 13:2 is a truthful response to this deceptive statement.

Yet there is no public rebuke from our leadership.

 

It's time to awaken.

We have signed the petition but we need to share it far and wide for others to sign.

If we sign and do not share,then the buck stops with us.
