❌GEDLING LABOUR VOTE TO INCLUDE GEDLING BOROUGH AS AN OPTION TO MERGE WITH THE CITY

We offered an amendment to endorse option 2 which keeps the county boundary as it is and Gedling safe.  Labour voted AGAINST!

We backed another groups amendment to keep Gedling out of any merger. Labour voted AGAINST.

Finally Labour voted FOR on the main motion to keep Gedling in the firing line with potential absorption into the City.

The Conservatives are proud to say, we voted against Gedling Labours plan to keep Gedling as an option for the City Boundary.

Your local MP Michael Payne was very quiet on this important, once in a lifetime matter but don’t worry, he did not vote in line with his Labour colleagues, in fact he did not vote at all….He wasn’t even there!
