Dear wonderful people - thank you very much for showing your support on change.org for our campaign to keep our library open.  It has been terrific to see our online petition grow to over 600 signatures since it launched.

We are still setting up our organising group of 25 willing volunteers, who will take the campaign forward.  But we need your help again to make sure the library isn’t closed without a full debate in the council.

To do this we need 500 or more citizens to sign up on the Council’s internal e-petition site.  The Council can reject signatories if they don’t submit their address and email on their submission and unfortunately the Change.org download doesn’t provide all these details.  So if you live or work locally, or otherwise have  connection to Peterborough, please complete this official petition to give us this chance to speak out in the Council chamber with our elected representatives to show how important the library is to our community.
