Just a quickie today….

Theres been a lot going on behind the scenes at  Save Woodcot… finally.. we’ve uploaded most, (but not all) of the interviews that were recorded in November…  it is hoped that more  info will be added to the growing number of social media platforms  over the coming weeks.  Please if you only do one thing today -  do share the channel with your friends.

Despite the fact that January and February are  the low season months in Salcombe, and despite the fact that the entire region has been deluged with rain for weeks now - it's very encouraging to see that the petition is still getting new  signatures every day   - proof if proof were needed - that people care deeply about what Age Uk are trying to do. Do keep signing and sharing. 

There's no denying that running a grass roots campaign such as the Save woodcot campaign can be a  hard slog at times - but what makes it all worthwhile is the encouragement from members of the public who are just grateful that some people  are fool enough to give it a go….plus the input from the very wise and committed professionals that Salcombe is fortunate to  attract to its community. 

Age Uk have some formidable foes in their midst - though its doubtful that they realise  this yet - and if we can prevail upon these Salcombe  VIP’s people to continue helping us, then there is every reason to believe that Woodcot  and the Jennings legacy can be saved for the future.

Do keep watching this space - let’s  keep on keeping on - we’ve everything to  play for and nothing to lose.
