🌳 UPDATE: The campaign to save the historic trees on the Nagar Naka–Daulatabad road has now entered its next stage.

Following public objections, the disputed decision was communicated on 15.05.2026. Serious concerns continue to be raised regarding the legality of the February–March 2026 tree felling and transplantation process.

Citizens are demanding:
✅ Immediate halt to tree cutting and transplantation
✅ Revocation of the impugned orders
✅ Public disclosure of tree data, permissions, and alternative road plans

This is not only an environmental issue, it is a heritage and public accountability issue.
