Hello again dear friend, It has been such an honour for the residents of Geoffrey Road (all 100+ of us) to be featured in the popular South London Press. Myself and the lovely Stephanie and her daughter were interviewed by Claudia Lee about our experiences living in Geoffrey Road and how all of us and yourselves are fighting this wildlife injustice awarded to us by Lewisham Council.
Please do read the article for yourself and share, as I know that so many of you reading this are finding yourself in similar situations with your local Authorities.
The article is so very heartwarming and real, Stephanie a wonderful local mum says - " I'd love to teach my daughter about animals and wildlife in our garden but it might all be gone'
A sentiment shared I know by so many of you reading this. What kind of a legacy are we leaving for the next generation? Are we going to allow developers, councils and suchlike to destroy Englands 'Green and Pleasant Land?' I love singing the song Jerusalem in church and belt out those wonderful words...
'And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England's mountain green?
And was the holy Lamb of God
On England's pleasant pastures seen?
Well we need to keep singing and fighting if we are to protect our wonderful green pastures and heritage in the UK right now.
Thank you so much for reading, praying and standing up for what is right, meeting and supporting people you only know online, and doing the decent thing.
It's truly beautiful and lovely.
Nature, wildlife, birdsong all the lovely things that we need to protect and cultivate as it lends to the gift of life itself in all its wonderful and exciting biodiversity.
Thank you again for supporting us x
If you can please do keep sharing, and helping us save Wildlife in SE4
I know it may not be in your back garden but really all nature is in our back garden.. As we all want to see the this beauty preserved for years to come.
For all to enjoy freely.
Much love,
From the residents and Geoffrey Road,
