Here's an excellent article in this weekend's Observer highlighting serious concerns about the Garden bridge. Please take time to read it - you'll be proud to be a 'Grinch' by the end of it! And I went to the slick 'show and tell' held by the Garden bridge trust today; I was outnumbered and surrounded by their reps but my trusty handouts were received gratefully by many locals who felt that this really is a bridge too far. The cost to the taxpayer is undeniable - it will be utterly unavoidable in the future. Is this rocketing bill what we really want to leave as a legacy?
