Greetings Supporters,

Earlier yesterday, we reached the milestone of 1,000 signatures on our petition to save the Whole Foods on Miller Avenue. This is a huge achievement for such a hyper-local petition and truly demonstrates the strength of community feeling on this issue.

Because time is of the essence, I printed and mailed the petition today to the relevant decision-makers at Whole Foods Regional Headquarters and Whole Foods Worldwide Headquarters. The packet included all signatures and comments, along with a cover letter explaining the petition, and was sent via signature-required delivery.

I also contacted Jeff Bezos’s team directly. Yesterday, I emailed his team a PDF copy of the petition, including all signatures and comments, as he is well known for responding personally to customer feedback.

I will, of course, keep you updated and share any response we may receive from Whole Foods, Amazon, or Jeff Bezos's team. Please continue to check your email and the Change.org campaign page for updates. I’ll also try to post updates on Nextdoor.
