We did it!

This evening at the school committee budget adoption meeting, Superintendent Ahern revised the budget to reinstate the K-7 Library Media Specialist position in the fiscal year 2025 budget. 

A huge thank you to the community and everyone who signed this petition and spoke out to voice your opinion. We owe a debt of gratitude to you all, as you truly had an impact on the future of the seven libraries in our district that the K-7 Library Media Specialist position oversees.

Thank you as well to the school district administrators, the school committee, and all who were involved in ensuring this position remains in our district.
