Thank-you for taking the time to sign the petition to support finding a solution that only includes keeping Sherwood HS where it is, long term. While we are all on the same page location wise, we may yet not be united in what the final solution is.

The HWDSB, after two online information and Q & A sessions is now asking the community to voice their opinion from one of 3 options presented to us. It is not a final vote though as the final decision will be determined by the Board of Trustees with consideration from the results of the survey.

The www.savesherwood.ca  website and many of its supporters favour option 1. “Keep Sherwood students where they are and do enough repairs and upgrades to maintain building safety”.

We feel this is the only option that can hopefully lead to a more open, transparent and collaborative solution that can involve the community and all stakeholders. You may want to view an example of what can result when there is active participation and collaboration in creating a solution.

Our petition results will be forwarded to the Board and its Trustees before the meeting on March 22, so we encourage to spread the word and build the response and share your comments.
