So I have spent the last few hours trying my hardest to see if there's a possible way to get a bus route from the north side of the bridge to the south side but beyond Castelnau. I have figured out a solution only TFL need to approve it first. The solution involves a new Bus Stop called Bridge Avenue and re-introduce the Hammersmith Bridge/North Side bus stop. Then Routes 283 and 72 would either go back to East Acton or go to Roehampton/Barnes. There will also be 3 main curtailment points - Hammersmith, Hammersmith Bridge and Castelnau, Lonsdale Road. I have honestly had it with TFL saying oh we'll try but it may not happen. See if it was something to do with money, well if I got that email saying it's about money, I would understand. This change needs to happen NOW.

Hammersmith Bridge has been shut since 11 April 2019. Multiple bus changes have happened but there isn't a direct one to take us beyong Castelnau. I appreciate to whoever did/has signed this petition and as said I'm trying all i can to save the 72. (And now add the 283 into it!)
