When we talk about saving the Barnardo’s at the Tesco site, we aren't just talking about retail space.
 
We’re talking about one of the few local spots where our young people can actually complete their The Duke of Edinburgh's Award
 
Every year, dozens of local teenagers rely on this shop to gain their Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards. It teaches them independence, work ethic, and community spirit. If this site closes, that 'stepping stone' disappears, and many 14- and 15-year-olds—who can’t just drive across town—will lose their chance to give back.
