Today SSEN received our petition to save Loch Kinellan and Contin Woods from 60m MegaPylons

Thank you! Our petition to 'Save Loch Kinellan and Contin Woods' from SSEN's huge transmission line and pylons has today been sent to Martin Godwin, Community Liaison Manager at SSE.
It has been signed by over 1,200 of us to demand that SSEN save this precious nature site and find a better alternative. They must listen to, and work with, our local Better Cable Route team.
This email has been copied to our MSPs, MPs and Highland Councillors representing our ward to urge them to listen to us, their constituents and help us protect this valuable, local asset.
What next?
Please try to attend SSEN's public events being held this week
- Contin Village Hall Wed 20 March 10am to 1pm
- Fairburn Memorial Hall Wed 20 March 3pm to 7pm
- Garve Village Hall Thurs 21 March 10am to 1pm
- Strathpeffer Pavilion Thurs 21 March 3pm to 7pm
NB: More events are being held, details in link above.
And if you can, book yourself a place at the Let's Talk Energy Summit organised by Edward Mountain, MSP at Strathpeffer Pavilion, Friday, 22 March at 6pm.
Many, many thanks for signing this petition.
Kind regards
Ali Craig
