Good turnout at the Sunday protest - but we need to do a lot more!

Save Hanuman Tekdi Protest at Balgandharva

On Sunday, 17th December 2023, people started gathering at Balgandharva Chowk around 10am. We had around 20-25 folks who showed up - and were around till 1pm. Atul Kulkarni had organized for placards which were very useful in starting conversations with Punekars who were walking by.

We had a few new additions to the Whatsapp group as a result of the awareness campaign conducted yesterday. But as Atul ji put on the placard - this is just the start of our efforts to save the Hanuman Tekdi.

How can you help?

• Read up more about the issue at tekdi.pune.io -
  • We have added a documents section to the site that you should go through.
  • There are pamphlets in PDF format that you can print and use to take signatures from Punekars. This will raise awareness about the issue, as well as gather support in our effort to save the tekdi.
• Spread the word about this petition on social media
