CCG STATEMENT Less than a month until it's planned closure this is the latest statement from the CCG with our response below. ​“East Lancashire CCG and partners are committed to commissioning high quality care for people and families in East Lancashire. We are taking further time to fully consider how we can best ensure that the right care is available in the right place at the right time for local people. We anticipate being able to confirm our timetable for next steps imminently”. WHAT WE SAY "We welcome that the CCG are taking time to 'fully consider' that the right care is available and we would ask the CCG to 'fully consider' their decision to close the walk in centre and listen to the will of the 20,000+ people who have signed the petition in just 4 weeks. This is a decision they cannot afford to get wrong and it cannot be made any clearer that the residents of this borough want it to remain."
