23 years!

Today I have had to update the petition because thanks to the brave, generous decision of a family 23 years ago at an unimaginably difficult time I received the lifesaving transplant that I desperately needed. (Consequently the petition will now say I am 23 years not 22 years post transplant.) If it wasn't for my donor and their family I would not be here today to write this. All I can say is Thank You. Although today is a day of happiness it is also tinged with sadness as I think of my donor as well as friends who have not been so lucky and never received the lifesaving transplant they needed. So I know I already ask alot of you as supporters but please would you today not only Share this petition once again, but also if you are not already signed up to the current Opt-in system consider doing so to cover yourself whilst we wait for the Soft Opt out system to be rolled out throughout the UK.
