Almost 82000 Signatures!!!

This is a bit of a long one, but please bear with me as our Deadline is approaching fast!
Firstly I am delighted to announce we are currently just 28 signatures away from 82,000 signatures collaboratively between Tracey, Samantha and ourselves.
Secondly as mentioned above the deadline is no faraway - in fact just over 7 weeks away.
Thirdly another important fast approaching deadline is 31st March 2016 - this is the date the number of transplants carried out annually is calculated up until. Since 1st April 2015 an amazing 3176 transplants have been carried out. However with just a month until the figures are renewed there are still 6464 people on the transplant waiting list. So if that number were to remain constant for the next month (which we all know if improbable as more people are added to the lost daily and heartbreakingly some people die waiting, or are taken off as they're deemed too ill for transplantation) then by 31/03/16 3460 transplants will have been carried out, but that would still leave a devastating 6180 people with little to no quality of life basically waiting to live. I would vehemently hate to be in this situation again myself and even more to see someone I love in this position.
I know I always say this, but this is why we need the rest of the UK to join Wales with the Soft Opt out system to maximise the number of transplants carried out throughout the UK. WE can make this happen!!!
So I am very aware you have all already done your it by signing up, but if you can share this petition again on your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. Or even just raise it as a topic in conversation we can raise vital awareness of Organ & Tissue donation even if we don't gain any extra signatures!
Thank you for reading all that, you can go grab a cuppa now!
Kindest regards
Lucy Ryan
