First of all, Thank you everybody who sign our petition. It reaches over 10,000 supporters now . My son has just spent his first birthday in hospital on 5th of Nov.2014, now he is 17 years old. He was such looking forward to back his home for his birthday ,however SADLY it is not possible. After the doctor in hospital there commented that my son is not fits for residential school now, they are now talking to potentially send my highly home sick son to further down south--Northampton --St.Andrews hospital which will be 400 miles away home if there is no alternative plan in Scotland ! My advocate is working hard to help us now to get a plan in Scotland. Please also help us by share more people to sign our petition to stop this further move down to South which will damage our whole family's life! .many thks. This St.Andrews hospital that now they are talking about to potentially move my son there has awful news--There are 4 deaths in 7 months in the same ward in this St.Andrews hospital due to the side effect of medicine for the patients. Please see report below: http://www.northamptonchron.co.uk/news/health/health-news/health-watchdog-criticised-for-not-investigating-deaths-at-st-andrew-s-hospital-in-northampton-1-5276691 Even the Chef Executive of NHS England is calling for immediate discharge of autism people which is put in an inappropriate place in hospital care. http://www.thesundaytimes.co.uk/sto/news/uk_news/Health/article1478483.ece THOUSANDS of people with autism and other learning difficulties are being cared for in “inappropriate” hospitals when they should be living at home or in their own communities, a leaked NHS inquiry has found. The British learning disability institute has reported abuse human rights by putting these learning disabilities or autism who are inpatients in specialist units. Please see link below. http://www.bild.org.uk/news-and-whats-on/newsindepth-rights/ However despite our children are treated so wrongly from many ways , we are still so powerless as parents ……………… I would like to cry, however my tears dry ….. I would like to shout, however my voice is hoarse … Face the big state machine, I knew , I knew individual is so weak , However, my dear son is my happiness source, My dear son is my total life …. Mum has to stay strong , And stronger for you And you ……. We pray and pray… God , Please bless us , Bless all the disabled children like our son, To have their loving home, Surrounded by their loved mum and dad . It is so normal for the normal children…. However, Is it beyond a normal for our vulnerable children??
