The courts accepted Dr. Greene's Appeal, and for now, she has her previous custody timeshare temporarily restored. As a temporary order, this issue is still not completed resolved. Additional legal proceedings are underway.

The created petition is in light of the decision of Judge Bernard Shapiro to remove a child from a frontline worker who also is a dear friend of mine. I feel this decision is unsatisfactory since Dr. Greene's order explicitly states: "The suspension is solely related to the outbreak of COVID-19."

Also, the petition created is to assist other frontline families in similar situations. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you feel this petition may help you in any way.

As stated, the legal proceedings are not over for Dr. Greene and many others, please consider continuing to share and shine a light on this provocative issue to set the appropriate precedent to allow frontline workers to retain custody of their children during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
