Revoke the Australia/Israel Coproduction treaty to protest the intimidation of filmmakers

Many thanks to all those who have supported this petition. I have now updated it slightly to reflect the most welcome news that Hamdan Ballal has been released from custody.
However, as The Guardian reports today:
This is not the first time that directors and crew members of No Other Land, and Palestinian residents of Susiya, have been attacked by settlers. CJNV (Centre for Jewish Non-Violence) shared details of at least 43 attacks in the village since the beginning of the year, perpetrated by violent settlers.
‘‘We came back from the Oscars and every day since there is an attack on us,” said Adra (Basel Adra, another director of No Other Land). “This might be their revenge on us for making the movie. It feels like a punishment.”
Consequently it remains urgent that we protest the mistreatment of filmmakers and demand that the Minister for the Arts revoke the Treaty. He should also meet with the Israeli Ambassador to express our concerns about the intimidation and terrorising of filmmakers, artists and media workers in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
Please share this petition widely.
