Dear Community,
We have received a response from Council Member Eric Dinowitz’s office regarding the park’s condition. A full $4.7 million renovation is in the planning stages, which will address all the issues we’ve raised. Council Member Dinowitz, along with the Parks Department, recently did a walkthrough of the park and has seen the conditions firsthand. His office is urging the Parks Department to move forward with the project swiftly.
While we appreciate this effort, our community is growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of improvement over the past five years. As a community, we demand immediate actions to address the park’s current state. Additionally, we are calling for a clear timeline on when these renovations will begin and be completed. Our park cannot continue to be neglected.
We also urge all parents and community members to share their frustrations and concerns in the comments section below. Your voices are crucial in making sure our concerns are heard, and collective action will help push for the immediate changes we need.
Thank you for your ongoing support and advocacy. We will keep you updated as we push for immediate solutions.
Best regards,
Joel
