Hi folks

You may have seen a copy of my letter to the Standard commenting on the replies from Stagecoach and Swestrans and the Council after the Standard feature on the petition a couple of weeks ago.

You may also have seen the response from Councillor Campbell vis Douglas Kirkpatrick of the Swestrans board which I sent on to everyone about ten minutes ago.

The main thing they say is that they can’ t discuss it this month on Friday as it is not on the agenda. They claim that they will discuss it in June's meeting when they get the full petition, again.

So I will wait for a few weeks to try to get more signatures. I will then submit the petition in about a month .

Please note they blame Stagecoach entirely and take no responsibility for ignoring the articles in the paper last year and this or their receipt of the petition last year.

I might say more later.
