📢 Petition Update: Demand Full Resignation of Lindsay Dahlheimer

Yesterday, Lindsay Dahlheimer released a two-page personal statement announcing her resignation as Chair of the Board of Education but not from the Board itself. In this statement, she used official district communications to air deeply personal grievances, publicly naming ongoing issues involving her family and interactions within the community.

Let us be clear: this was inappropriate and unacceptable.

District communication channels should never be used to address personal matters, especially those involving allegations and personal disputes. It is a misuse of public resources and undermines the professionalism and focus our schools require. Instead of centering the district’s needs—students, staff, and educational priorities—this letter redirected attention to private concerns and cast blame in a way that only deepens division within the community.

Her decision to step down as Chair while remaining an active Board member does not go far enough.

Given the seriousness of the claims and her own acknowledgment that she must prioritize her family, we are renewing our call for Lindsay Dahlheimer’s full resignation from the RSD13 Board of Education. If she cannot separate personal challenges from professional responsibilities—or respect the boundaries of her role—she should not continue to serve.

We urge all petition supporters and concerned residents to attend the Board of Education meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, August 13th. Let your voices be heard. We must advocate for leadership that is transparent, professional, and focused solely on the success and safety of every student in District 13.
