Mrs. Kehs did resign after the Feb 8th meeting but rescinded her resignation the next day. We have heard multiple reasons for her taking back the resignation, one is that she believes this will all blow over soon, and the other is that her vote is needed to strike down changes to the district's Health and Safety Plan, which puts our ESSER funding ($6 million) in jeopardy. If she thinks this will blow over, she is WRONG. And, if she's going to vote to forfeit $6 million in funding when our district is already underfunded, then she doesn't really care about test scores - does she? No, she cares more about her political agenda than the students well being. Either way, she is wrong and she NEEDS TO GO!
The next Board meeting is Tuesday, Feb 22nd at 7 pm, we are hopeful that it will be moved to a larger location. Join us there!
