24 February 2026 – Update

We have now received written confirmation from the Trust that this matter has been “fully investigated and determined” and will not be re-opened unless “new and significant evidence” is presented.

At the same time:

• A Year 6 pupil’s artwork has not been returned.

• Her direct request has not been meaningfully addressed.

• The emotional impact on her final year of primary school has not been acknowledged in any practical way.

There is no safeguarding concern preventing its return.

There is no legal restriction cited.

There is simply a closed position.

Administrative closure does not equal resolution for the child involved.

When a pupil’s voice requires “new and significant evidence” to be reconsidered, it raises a broader question about proportionality, compassion, and common sense.

This petition continues to ask for one straightforward outcome:

Return the artwork. Acknowledge the impact. Draw a proper line.

If you believe children deserve to feel heard — not managed — please continue to support and share.

Visibility matters.
