Good morning, everyone.

As of 10:35 AM today, we have reached 723 signatures on the petition. I can’t thank you enough for your support—your signatures, shares, and kind words mean the world to me and our family during this heartbreaking time.

I originally planned to wrap things up after the weekend, but I’ve decided to extend the petition drive a bit longer. Tomorrow morning, I’ll begin sending targeted emails to senators, lawmakers, and other organizations that can help push for change. To make the strongest possible case, I’ll keep the petition active and continue asking for signatures until we hit 1,000. The more momentum it has while these conversations are happening, the more powerful our message will be.

One more time, I want to be very clear: This is deeply personal and emotional for me and Christian’s entire family. But when it comes down to the bare essentials, the facts are straightforward and undeniable:

1.  A person with a suspended license was permitted to take a vehicle on a test drive from the dealership.

 •  This was allowed both by whoever transported them to the dealership and by the dealership staff itself.

2.  That individual drove in a reckless and unlawful manner—as witnessed by multiple bystanders in parking lots and on the roadway—leading directly to the crash that killed my son.

3.  The driver was in a 45 mph zone but traveling at 73 mph at the moment of impact.

No matter anyone’s personal feelings about the broader circumstances, this was a preventable tragedy that occurred on June 6, 2025. In any reasonable world, it never should have been possible.

A suspended license exists for a reason. Dealership policies, test-drive protocols, and basic traffic enforcement exist for a reason. When those safeguards fail, innocent lives are lost.
