3000 Signatures in 2 weeks! Please help spread awareness to repeal and amend Bill 44.

Thank you to everyone who signed the petition!!!!!!  There were 2500+ signatures in just over a week and now in 2 weeks, we've reached the 3000 signature mark.

To be effective we need to cover the whole Province of British Columbia.  Residents of B.C. have already signed across the province, but it will be crucial to reach a critical mass, if we are to convince the Province to back down from their gross folly of overturning Local Democracy through this draconian and repressive bill that will overturn communities simply for the interests of maximizing developer-profits. 

Here is how you can help achieve this:

1. Have your family members signed?  If you signed, but your family members didn't, there are many more signatures that could be made if you talk to them about Bill 44, even more so if you include extended family and friends.

2.  Post the petition on Social Media, and specifically on your local community pages e.g. community Facebook pages, and/or discussion pages.  There are communities all over British Columbia who are entirely aware what the Province is doing to their communities through passing Bill 44.

3.  Talk to your local media about Bill 44 and about this petition.  That is a great way to get the word out.  Write letters, call into radio shows etc.,

4.  Email contacts in not just your community, but all over the province.  The wider awareness is raised, the more likelihood that across the province opposition to the Bill will coalesce in the needed time-frame before it is too late to undo the drastic changes involved in it.

5.  Make a poster with a QR Code for this issue discussing how it will affect your community and post them up on community billboards.
