Happy Pride Month! I hope everyone is doing well and keeping safe during this time. In light of pride month, our petition has been gaining momentum again recently. Thank you all for the 55k+ signatures so far! It’s heartening to see that the petition is still active after almost 3 years, despite the lack of response from the government after this petition was submitted for review in September 2018.

Singapore’s annual pride event, PinkDot, will be happening in a few hours, so do tune in to the livestream at 8pm SGT if you can! You can watch the livestream and find more information on the event at the official PinkDot website: https://pinkdot.sg

I came across this article recently, which takes an in-depth look at how queer people in Singapore face systemic discrimination. It’s a very informative read, do check it out: https://heckinunicorn.com/blogs/heckin-unicorn-blog/the-price-of-being-queer-in-singapore-lgbt-rights-in-singapore

Last but not least, if you would like to support other social causes, here’s a comprehensive, Singapore-based carrd, with links to organisations to support, sites that you can donate to, and other petitions to sign: https://whatsnotclicking.carrd.co/

Once again, Happy Pride Month!
