Well, this has been brewing for a while and perhaps became even more obvious at the time of the grass cutting staff changeover from blue green shirts to the red yellow ones. 

We waited and waited and then the drain began to flood over this past April/May 2026 months of rain and as water levels rose, we had to journey down the safety path to see what was causing the congestion. 

As it turns out, what used to be fortnightly maintenance looked like it had been months and months since anyone had come through. We could not walk through at all at risk of there being snakes especially in the overgrowth. 

As much as it is an administrative pain, here we are filing this third report related to this precious lil safety passageway. At first I went right back to SISPAA but it kept generating a 'fill in all the blanks' error message when I clicked submit, I had completed all the fields with a red asterisk. So, after numerous tries, I moved on to ResponsRakyat App which a gentleman staff at the Aduan office kindly informed me about during my previous visit. It's not perfect but it let me upload longer video files.

After filing the complaint via ResponsRakyat, we also sent a follow up email via the Tiket ID 024288 email thread. We included Nordin Abdul Wahab via an email found through the MBPJ website but our email was rejected from his address.

It had been months since the grass cutters come to cut the drain area behind our house. Since before the grass cutters uniforms changed from blue green shirts to red yellow ones. It used to be that they came fortnightly. 

At first, they still came regularly. Eventually, they cut the grass but stopped cleaning the drain after cutting the grass. Then, they came less and less as the passage closed when neighbours from house 2, 4 & 6 Jalan 5/35 built over the passage that they used to carry garbage bags of grass out.

As the drain water level has increased and overflowed, I realized this report is overdue. On 22 May 2026, I tried to walk in from SK Methodist end up to the wall of house no #6 but could not get through after about 2 houses in as it was overgrown. 

I ran into the grass cutters who were sleeping and they asked me where the path went. They said they would go through and cut it and they did but they did not clean up after they left hence the flooding drain. 

When I walked the entire path again, I saw that behind Multicare Nursing Home (5 Jalan 5/37) there was a lot of litter - cigarette packets, alcohol bottles, etc. It is only the drain area behind this one specific business/property that is exceptionally littered.
