Council has refused to remove the speed bumps

Dear All

Today I received a letter from council (dated 24/3/23) and they have advised "That Council: 

1. Advise the Chief petitioner that the speed cushions are an interim solution, and that funding is currently being sought for the design and construction to upgrade the pedestrian crossing to a signalised crossing. 
2. Note there are no plans to remove the speed cushions until funding to upgrade the crossing becomes available. "

Thanks for your support but our motion to have them removed has been denied - please drive safely around them.
