On May 22nd, Benjamin Netanyahu said that Eurovision was really won by Israel. As Israel's war crimes continue, as aid cannot enter Gaza, and as Eurovision maintains their stance of being a strictly non-political event, we cannot let Israel continue to use Eurovision as a platform to artwash their genocide. Even though many people dismiss Eurovision as a silly song contest, it is the perfect platform for nation branding and exploitation. As long as Moroccanoil is sponsoring the contest, Israel will be allowed to do what they please.

On a more positive note, Israel will not be participating in the next edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest that will be held in Tbilisi later this year. I also have not been able to find anything about Moroccanoil being involved in jesc in any way shape or form. We cannot allow for Moroccanoil to renew their sponsorship contract with Eurovision again and we cannot allow Israel to participate in either esc or jesc. 

We still have a long way to go on this petition. We cannot wait until Eurovision 2026 to act.
