Criminal Roger Mahony asked Bishops to stay together and have devotion to each other in this time of crisis. He wants to be protected and he wants other criminals in the College of Bishops to be protected.  Just like he protected hundreds of child abusers and rapists in the LA dioceses. 

He said: “We must not allow outside groups of any kind, in this country or anywhere else, to interfere with, or attempt to break the bonds of our collegial union.”
