I am sure we are all enjoying these long awaited first days of spring like weather in Vermont or other regions of the north country and hopefully you have had the opportunity to wet your line on a local stream. At this time of the year, we may even take a moment to appreciate our beautiful surrounding as we explore the outdoors, and also realize our collective ability as anglers and conservationists to protect the state fish of Vermont, the brook trout, by lowering the creel limit for brookies.
