Dear friends and supporters,

Over 5,000 people have already signed our petitions – online and on paper – asking for the recognition of Yoga Vidya e.V. as a public law corporation and our Ashrams as monastic communities in Germany, for freedom of religion, for equal rights for Hindu Ashrams in Germany. We are deeply grateful for this incredible support!

The petitions have already been handed over to members of the state parliament, a member of the German Bundestag, as well as the mayor and deputy mayor. They have promised to stand with us – and have already raised our cause with the State Chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).

But the journey is not over yet.
In mid/late August we will deliver the petition directly to the NRW State Chancellery – and every additional signature will make our message stronger.
