Just a note

Yesterday my son saw his grandmother for the first time in 7 months. 7 long months. It was nice to see him drop his school bag and run into the arms of a teary eyed nan. But also heart wrenching to know why.

After the 2 hour visit with my not so little man as i walked him back to the car of the person driving him back to his group home he grabbed my arm l, turned and looked me in the eyes welling up with tears in his own and he said to me. 

"Mum, nothing will make up for this, for what they've done. For every hug they've taken from us. "
