As most of you know, this petition was recently featured in the news. However, much to my BITTER FRUSTRATION, I still have only 208 signatures on it. Getting signatures on this petition should NOT be a constant struggle for me; by this point I should have surpassed 1,000 signatures. And yet somehow, I haven't. I wrote this petition for good reason; every piece of rolling stock ever used by SEPTA has historical significance and all of would be fun to own as ready-to-run scale models. Why you may ask? For any model train enthusiast or model railroader modelling metropolitan Philadelphia or the Northeast Corridor, of course! Anyone who does either should be able to do it authentically. Some modelers have even gone so far as to 3D print catenary poles for modelling electrified railroad corridors such as Amtrak's Northeast Corridor. That being said, please share this petition on any social media platform that you are actively using and send emails to family and friends with the petition link attached to the message. By Christmas of this year, I expect at least 1,000 signatures on this petition. PLEASE DO NOT LET ME DOWN!
