Rally a Huge Success!

BIG thanks for all the 350 plus citizens who came out for the Rally at Umstead State Park Saturday July 27. This impressive attendance highlights the massive opposition and sends a clear message to the decision-makers!

We'd also like to thank the community leaders who spoke about the need to protect Umstead State Park and oppose a new quarry pit on the Odd Fellows Tract:  NC Senator Wiley Nickel, Raleigh City Council members:  Stef Mendell, David Cox, Kay Crowder and Russ Stephenson.
