Did you know that the only promised "affordable" access that the public will have to the leisure centre that Kingston Council want to build on the site of The Kingfisher is to toilets and one meeting room with a kitchenette. And even that has not been written in to the approval as a condition in plain English

No community use promised for ANY sports facilities

No affordable pricing policy for ANY sports facilities

NOTHING

This is our last chance to stop KIngston Council's plans and to try and save The Kingfisher

Please donate now to try and stop the council's plans

It makes no sense to demolish a leisure centre that is a true community facility and to replace it with a facility that is so expensive to build that access will be limited to those people who can afford to pay an arm and a leg for entry or to clubs whose members are also coughing up huge amounts for excusive access

Please donate now to the fundraiser to get a legal opinion on whether there are grounds to challenge the council's plans for the new leisure centre
