Today, April 13th 2025 marks 4 years since Madisyn Solomon lost her life. Most patients try three or four types of psychotropic/antidepressant drugs before they find the one that works for them (or they decide it’s not for them at all). Madi was on her second type when she died by suicide due to drug induced psychosis.
My hope today is that it doesn’t take the Canadian government to much longer to pass Madi’s Law. The clock is ticking and more people are being harmed or losing their lives.
I never win…my daughter is gone. Through her death, and the people supporting Madi’s Law Canada can win. We need safer practices.
May all those whose lives were stolen from adverse reactions to psychotropic drugs not die in vain. To all the Madi’s out there, you are seen. We can do better!
