To everyone who has taken the time to read, sign, and share this petition, thank you so very much.
This effort began after years of witnessing troubling animal-welfare situations unfold within my local Nextdoor communities, and recognizing how urgently stronger platform safeguards, more consistent moderation, and greater accountability are needed.
What started with concerns in one community is an issue that extends far beyond it. Vulnerable animals across the country deserve better protections.
My sincere hope is that, together, we can bring these concerns to the attention of Nextdoor's leadership and encourage meaningful, lasting improvements.
Please keep sharing this petition! Every signature represents another voice calling for change, and every share helps us reach people who may be experiencing the same issues in their own communities.
